Garlic mashed potatoes with parmesan

Preparation time: 5 minutes

Cooking time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 1/2 tsp butter
  • 4 cups potatoes, mashed
  • 2 cups milk approx.
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 tbsps butter

Method:

In a pan saute crushed garlic clove in 1/2 teaspoon butter. Add mashed potatoes and milk; bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.

Cook for 6 minutes then stir in egg yolk. Cook 1 minute longer; stir in Parmesan cheese and 2 tablespoons butter.

Serves 6.
