Shepherd’s pie recipe

Preparation time: 15 minutes

Cooking time: 30 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups mashed potatoes
  • 2 tbsp crushed dried parsley
  • 2 cups cooked lamb, cut into 2 cm cubes
  • 2 cups gravy
  • 1 cup frozen peas, cooked
  • 1 cup frozen corn, cooked
  • 1/4 cup chopped peeled onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Method:

Heat oven to 180C. Stir together potatoes and parsley flakes; set aside.

In a large casserole dish, combine lamb, gravy, peas, corn, onion and salt. Smooth mashed potatoes on top and bake 30 minutes or until potatoes brown slightly.
